Hebrews 9:27 And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment,

Matthew 12:36-37 "But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment. "For by your words, you will be justified, and by your words, you will be condemned." Acts 17:30 "Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent, Romans 14:12 So then each one of us will give an account of himself to God.

James 4:17 “Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.”  Ezekiel 3:2 "Again, when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I place an obstacle before him, he will die; since you have not warned him, he shall die in his sin, and his righteous deeds which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand. Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.

Psalm 33:18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him, on those who hope for His lovingkindness,  Psalm 34:15 The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous And His ears are open to their cry. Proverbs 28:9 God detests the prayers of a person who ignores the law. Proverbs 15:2 The tongue of the wise comment’s knowledge, but the mouth of the fool spouts folly.

 

3 The eyes of the LORD are in every place, observing the evil and the good. 4 A soothing tongue is a tree of life, but a perverse tongue crushes the spirit… Revelation 20: And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and the books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. Hebrews 11:6 And without faith, it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

Therefore, rejecting all falsehood [whether lying, defrauding, telling half-truths, spreading rumors, any such as these],SPEAK TRUTH EACH ONE WITH HIS NEIGHBOR,

 

for we are all parts of one another [and we are all parts of the body of Christ]. BE ANGRY [at sin--at immorality, at injustice, at ungodly behavior], YET DO NOT SIN;

 

do not let your anger [cause you shame, nor allow it to] last until the sun goes down. 27 And do not give the devil an opportunity [to lead you into sin by holding a grudge, or nurturing anger, or harboring resentment, or cultivating bitterness]. 

 

 The thief [who has become a believer] must no longer steal, but instead, he must work hard [making an honest living], producing that which is good with his own hands, so that he will have something to share with those in need. 29Do not let unwholesome [foul, profane, worthless, vulgar] words ever come out of your mouth, but only such speech as is good for building up others, according to the need and the occasion, so that it will be a blessing to those who hear [you speak]. 30

 

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God [but seek to please Him], by whom you were sealed and marked [branded as God’s own] for the day of redemption [the final deliverance from the consequences of sin]. 31 Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor [perpetual animosity, resentment, strife, fault-finding] and slander be put away from you, along with every kind of malice [all spitefulness, verbal abuse, malevolence]. 32 Be kind and helpful to one another, tender-hearted [compassionate, understanding], forgiving one another [readily and freely], just as God in Christ also forgave [c]you.
